A little history of TDN!
Tour de Nebraska was founded in 1988. Check out what we are about!

How it all got started....In early 1988, newly married and owners of Bike Pedalers, Rich and Susan Rodenburg decided to create their own statewide bicycle tour. They had discovered the joys of bicycle adventures in Switzerland, Italy, France and Wisconsin.
Why not in Nebraska, they wondered? Soon after, the idea for Tour de Nebraska emerged from a late-night brainstorming session with friends (yes, there were adult beverages involved). 10 people joined us on our first Tour de Nebraska--which was 7 days. We doubled every year, and now welcome 500 riders to our rolling tribe. |
Rolling into the Future! The Rodenburgs happily announced Charlie and Kim Schilling as the new directors and owners of Tour de Nebraska in July 2017. Rich and Susan will be part of the transition team for the next three tours (2018, 2019 and 2020) to provide Charlie and Kim with the support they need to continue the strong tradition of Tour de Nebraska.
"We love Charlie and Kim, and we know that they share our devotion and responsibility for TDN. It is a great comfort that all of us will have the opportunity to ride and enjoy future Tour de Nebraska adventures under their direction." --Rich and Susan Rodenburg, Founders |
