GRAVEL RIDE DAY 3: Friday, June 23
Albion to Norfolk — 58 miles

We will depart at 7:00 am from the Boone Central High School on a casual and fun adventure of North Central Nebraska Gravel.  We will be offering two routes for Friday, an all-weather route and a dry route.  Our goal for both routes is to showcase many miles of minimum maintenance, low water crossings, rural churches and cemeteries, in addition to state wildlife areas on the route.

The gravel option will utilize all Tour de Nebraska road stops in Newman Grove, Iowa Valley Cemetery and Battle Creek.

After Battle Creek, we will finish the last 9 miles of our ride on the historic Cowboy Trail.

Difficulty level:  Moderate.  There will be miles of minimum maintenance, a possible field crossing, and some short, but punchy climbs.

GRAVEL RIDE DAY 4: Saturday, June 24
Norfolk to Wayne — 64 miles

The 2nd day of our gravel option will feature the communities of Hoskins, Winside and Wayne.  Our all-weather route should be a great introduction to gravel for those electing to ride this day of the gravel adventure.

This out and back option will give riders the opportunity to ride 3 different distances with the opportunity to turn back in both Hoskins and Winside

Hoskins:  18 miles total
Winside: 42 miles total
Wayne:  64 miles total

For those of you going to Wayne, you will have the opportunity to grab lunch within the community and stop at Johnny Byrd Brewing Company.

Difficulty level:  Easy Peasy.  This is a great opportunity for those wanting to ride gravel in a low pressure and judgment free environment.  Expect some rolling hills, and lots of pea sized gravel.
