Dear TDN Cyclists & Friends,
We want to address concerns and questions directly about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential impact on Tour de Nebraska 2020. The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services directed us to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as the source of the latest health updates. At this time, we are proceeding as scheduled with plans to host the 33rd annual Tour de Nebraska, June 17-21, 2020. However, we are moving the cancellation deadline back from April 1 to April 10.
We will continue to work closely with the local health officials and community leaders to ensure we are taking the proper precautions and making decisions that are in the best interest of our riders, staff and communities. We expect that by mid-April, we'll have more focus and can further assess plans going forward.
Meanwhile, TDN has established a Crisis Management Team made up of riders and stakeholders. Their goal is to help establish contingencies that further the mission of everyone helping each other, especially in these uncertain times.
Until then, be safe and healthy. If you have any questions, please contact me at: schilling.charles@gmail.com
Stay safe,
Charlie Schilling, Director
We also ask that you continue to support the local economy and help any way you can. Buy local and support your friends and neighbors.
#stopthespread with these handy tips.

1.Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds.
2.Avoid touching your face, eyes, mouth, and nose.
3.Avoid contact with people who are vulnerable. And if you can’t, wear a mask.
4.Cover your cough with the bend of your elbow.
5.Disinfect surfaces you regularly use.
